Burbage Valley

Burbage Valley

Better than Cuvier! Many, many classy problems of all grades are spread with abandon throughout the valley. Shady or sunny, windy or sheltered; take your pick of crags. There are some isolated classics, some compact buttresses of fun, a boulder field and, if you are lucky, an ice cream van.

Access and Approach
The Burbage Valley climbing area is surrounded by car parks and well served by buses. This broad valley, which the majority of the bouldering overlooks, is conveniently accessed on foot via a rough track - the Green Drive. For access to Burbage Bridge, North & West, park at Burbage Bridge. For Burbage South limited parking is possible in a little turn off just below the Fox House.
